Refreshing Peppermint Milk
These days the weather is so hot that I can hardly go to kitchen and cook some complicated dishes. I am just drinking all the time and my only lifesaver now is this wondeful summer drink: cold, refreshing and always uplifting peppermint milk The combination of mint + milk has become my culinary discovery quite recenly! I’ve got addicted to this idea and prepared a simple, relatively low-caloric and tasty milk «cocktail».
We need just 3 ingredients for this drink:
2 tablespoons sugar
1-2 branches of mint
1. Pour milk into a saucepan, rinse mint and lightly rub it with fingers, so it gives the specific mint aroma. Put mint in a saucepan with milk and set on fire.
2. When milk starts boiling, add sugar, and stir it for a minute or two. Then remove it from heat and leave to cool for 20-30 minutes. Remove the milk scum, take the mint out of milk, and put it in the fridge to be cooled.
